Project Volta, implemented by AGC, represents a significant step toward the decarbonization of the glass industry.
The goal is to reduce CO₂ emissions through modern technologies, including a hybrid glass furnace that combines electric melting with gas combustion. This innovative approach enables a more environmentally friendly production of flat glass.
As part of the project, we contributed by supplying key technological components. We provided the switchboards for the cullet scales, cabling, software development, and its integration into the superior system. The mechanical part of our delivery included the cullet scale and vibrating conveyors, which are essential for the efficient handling of raw materials.
